LogisVert heat pump rebate

How the amount is calculated

The amount is not based on the price you pay but on the heat pump's heating capacity at −8 °C, in BTU/h. This value is listed for every approved model.

• Cold-climate model: about $120 per 1,000 BTU/h at −8 °C.
• Standard model: about $50 per 1,000 BTU/h at −8 °C.

Example: a cold-climate wall-mounted heat pump that delivers 17,400 BTU/h at −8 °C gives about 17.4 × $120 = $2,088.

That is why we mostly recommend cold-climate models: for similar capacity, the rebate is more than twice as high.
